Gerrard's tenure with Liverpool featured 710 appearances and 9 accolades, a fact he recently disclosed in an interview. He recounted, "There were indeed several international clubs showing interest in me, many of which were managed by Mourinho, including Inter and Real Madrid, and it wasn't a one-time occurrence. Additionally, around the time Schweinsteiger departed from Bayern, discussions with my agent about potential transfers had taken place."
